The EDSI Interview Process
Pre-screen
Typically the EDSI interview process will begin with a phone call from an EDSI recruiter. During this brief initial conversation, the recruiter will ask several questions and provide a general overview of the position at hand. Candidates may be asked to complete a short, online survey, which helps identify where individuals may best fit within the organization.
1st Interview
Candidates who are chosen to move forward in the process will be contacted to schedule a first interview with our Human Resources Manager. Since our corporate office is in Dearborn, Michigan, this will be a video conference interview for those candidates who are outside of Michigan. We will schedule a time for candidates to report to one of our local offices, where the video conference interview will take place. Although the video conference is done virtually, it is a standard formal interview. Those candidates in Michigan will be invited to meet for an interview at our corporate office location.
2nd Interview
Candidates who move beyond the first interview will be contacted again to schedule a second interview, this time with the manager of the specific site at which the position is located. This allows candidates to see the office in person and get a feel for the day-to-day operations. In addition to meeting with the manager, candidates may have an opportunity to meet with staff members in the position for which they are applying, as well as other team members.
Candidate selection
Once second interviews with potential candidates have been completed, the candidate whom we are interested in offering a position will be contacted via phone and an official offer letter will be sent via email.
