Position Description:

 

  • Provide coaching and coordination of services to participants.
  • Be able to teach agency’s curriculum to participants in a motivation and enthusiastic manner.
  • Responsible for development and progress of those being served.
  • Be organized and efficient in handling multiple task and cases.
  • To deliver the assigned curriculum to each client.
Required Qualifications:

 

  • Provide consistent and comprehensive case management and follow-up.
  • Create solutions to participant attendance problems.
  • Provide individualized assessment of work, family and personal development needs and opportunities
  • Oversee participant activities and teach curriculum to participants
  • Accurately complete required documentation
  • Assist participants with overcoming barriers to employment by providing referrals to appropriate community service or social service agencies when needed
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports as needed.
  • Work with government officials to ensure appropriate documentation is completed and received.
  • Build a professional one-on-one working relationship with participants to aid in eliminating challenges that are hindrances to obtaining and retaining employment. This includes: assessment, individualized attention and coordination
  • Assist with Job Club activities
  • Assist participants with the development of their resume
  • Conduct career-planning sessions with clients
  • Administer assessment instruments and compile participant assessment data
  • Maintain organized database of clients and keep detailed documentation of all contacts with clients
  • Facilitate group-learning activities
  • Ensure participants gain necessary information
  • Provide timely reports for the Manager regarding participant attendance and performance
Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts.
  • Demonstrated telephone, computer and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor require.
  • A working knowledge of MS Office
  • Must have notable experience in business, sales or management.
  • Should have notable experience in training, education or career development.
  • Must be able to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
